The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai intensifies the Janmashtami conflict as Abhira finds herself unexpectedly supporting the Damanis. Meanwhile, Armaan strongly opposes handing over Kaveri’s beloved Lord Krishna idol, creating another disagreement between the couple.
The Idol Becomes the Biggest Issue
Manisha tells Abhira that the Damanis can organize the Janmashtami celebration only if Kaveri’s Lord Krishna idol is handed over to them.
Armaan immediately becomes furious.
He believes that the Damanis are using the religious celebration to promote their business and make money. He reminds everyone that Kaveri has protected the idol for years and refuses to allow the Damanis to take it.
For Armaan, this is not simply about a festival—it is about protecting Kaveri’s faith and emotions.
Myra and Kabir Clash
Meanwhile, Myra enjoys breakfast with Abhira while Armaan continues coaching Mukti.
Mukti wants to eat breakfast, but Armaan insists that she complete her running first. Abhira then gives her a healthy meal.
Myra, however, has completely different demands.
She starts asking for cake, chocolate and kachori.
Later, Myra unexpectedly meets Kabir.
She becomes angry after remembering that the Damanis have been given the responsibility of organizing Janmashtami.
Kabir argues that his family has simply received an opportunity.
But Myra explains why the festival is so important to Kaveri.
She recalls that when Armaan was once seriously unwell, Kaveri made a vow to organize Janmashtami every year after his recovery.
Myra therefore believes that the Damanis have taken away something deeply emotional from Kaveri.
Her anger gets the better of her, and she deliberately breaks Kabir’s glasses when he tries to pick them up.
Raghav Demands the Idol
Meanwhile, Raghav asks Madhav to hand over the idol to the Damanis.
Madhav reminds him that their families have a history of rivalry.
Raghav argues that he has already tried to end their hostility by revealing information about the fraudulent employee.
Now he expects Madhav to take the next step and end the rivalry by giving him the idol.
However, the Poddars are still reluctant.
Nandani Puts Abhira Under Pressure
Nandani later approaches Abhira and asks her to hand over the idol.
Abhira initially refuses.
She explains that she cannot deliberately hurt Kaveri’s feelings.
But Nandani gives her another perspective.
She tells Abhira that thousands of devotees have faith in the idol and suggests that refusing to hand it over could hurt their religious sentiments.

Armaan argues that they cannot hurt Kaveri’s religious sentiments simply to satisfy the Damanis.
Abhira explains that the Damanis may not necessarily have bad intentions. She believes they could simply use the idol for the celebration and return it afterward.
According to Abhira, their personal rivalry should not become a reason to interfere with the faith of thousands of devotees.
Manisha and Manoj also begin to see Abhira’s point.
Manisha further explains that Samar had dropped them home because their car had broken down, suggesting that the Damanis may not be behaving as badly as everyone assumes.
Kaveri Gives Armaan and Abhira the Responsibility
Armaan and Abhira continue arguing over the idol.
Neither is willing to completely change their position.
Kaveri finally intervenes and asks them to stop fighting.
