Vasudha | Written Update: August 26, 2026: Vasudha Leaves for Mundwa as Chandrika’s Hidden Past Comes Closer to the Surface

The latest episode of Vasudha takes the story toward a major mystery as Vasudha prepares to leave for Mundwa to complete her difficult Vrath. Meanwhile, Dev is deeply worried about her, while Chandrika’s unexplained connection with Mundwa becomes increasingly suspicious.

The episode begins with Avinash finally returning home after being away for a long time. He immediately notices that Dev is emotionally disturbed and asks what happened.

Dev opens up about Vasudha’s departure. He explains that although he has his family around him whenever he is upset, Vasudha is going to be completely alone. He worries about where she will stay and how she will manage without the support of her family.

Avinash tries to calm Dev and assures him that Vasudha will be able to handle the situation.

Meanwhile, Vasudha prepares to begin her challenging Vrath.

Before she leaves, Guru ji gives her an important instruction. He tells Vasudha that she must keep her true identity completely secret until she successfully completes the Vrath.

She cannot reveal her real name, family background or connection to the Chauhan family to anyone during her stay.

Guru ji asks her to take a new name and begin the journey as though she is an entirely different person.

Vasudha agrees to follow his instructions.

She knows that completing this sacrifice is important for Prabhat’s safety and could eventually help Chandrika accept her as the family’s elder Bahu.

However, Vasudha does not realize that her journey is about to bring her closer to a mystery that has remained hidden for years.

She heads toward Mundwa.

The village is particularly significant because its name has repeatedly caused fear and discomfort for Chandrika. Whenever Mundwa is mentioned, Chandrika becomes uneasy, while Hanumant has also refused to reveal exactly what connects the family to the place.

Vasudha has so far only sensed that something serious lies behind Chandrika’s reaction.

Vasudha believes that Mundwa is simply the destination for her spiritual test. But staying there under a new identity could expose her to people, places or incidents connected with Chandrika’s past.

Her decision to hide her identity may protect her during the Vrath, but it could also make the mystery even more complicated if someone from Chandrika’s past recognizes a connection to her.

The upcoming episodes could therefore become crucial.
