Anupama 26th August 2026 Written Episode Update: Anupama Struggles With Self-Doubt Before the Grand Finale
The latest episode of Anupama focuses on Anupama’s biggest challenge yet as she loses confidence in her own abilities just before the grand finale. While her family and friends try to convince her not to give up, Gautam’s plan and the Paritosh-Pakhi money track create another layer of trouble.
The episode begins with Anupama feeling completely broken. Thinking about the cooking competition and the dream she has worked toward for so long, she questions God and wonders why another obstacle has appeared just when success seemed so close.
She remembers praying for nothing to come between her and her dream. Now, with her sense of taste still affected, she fears that everything she worked for could disappear.
Prerna, Ishani and Banku notice Anupama crying. Banku tries to cheer her up by asking whether she wants pizza, but Anupama sadly explains that she cannot properly taste food anymore. The moment makes her realize just how difficult the situation has become.
Jaya then speaks with Anupama about her own dream of having a house. Anupama admits that she currently feels as though her dream has also been broken. However, she promises Jaya that she will still help her achieve her dream.
Banku offers to drop Jaya at school, and before leaving, Jaya wishes Anupama luck for the competition.
Hasmuk later asks Anupama to prepare for the grand finale, but she refuses. She tells him that she cannot participate because she believes God has taken her dream away.
Hasmuk refuses to let her surrender.
He reminds her that she has offered prasad to God many times without tasting it. Perhaps, he suggests, this situation is simply another test. He reminds Anupama that years of experience have taught her how to understand food even without constantly tasting it.
She knows how different ingredients should balance, and that knowledge has not suddenly disappeared.
Digvijay also encourages her. He reminds Anupama that every round of the competition brings unexpected challenges. If the judges suddenly give her a task that requires cooking without tasting, would she really walk away?
Ishani then gives Anupama an emotional reminder. If she has the strength to help rebuild Jaya’s broken dream, she should also have enough courage to fight for her own dream.
Anupama remains worried about what the judges will think if they discover her condition.
Digvijay tells her that they do not necessarily have to reveal everything. He continues reminding her of her talent and insists that she is still capable of competing.
Prerna also asks Anupama to stop thinking negatively and get ready for the finale.

She looks at Anuj’s photograph and begins speaking to him. In her imagination, Anuj reminds her that she can achieve anything she decides to do. Still, Anupama admits that she is scared.
For perhaps the first time in a long while, she genuinely doubts whether she can overcome the obstacle in front of her.
Eventually, Anupama refuses to leave for the grand finale.
Meanwhile, Paritosh is busy counting the money he has received. Pakhi notices him and immediately becomes suspicious.
She questions him about the source of the money and threatens to tell Anupama if he does not explain.
Paritosh finally reveals that Gautam gave him the money and instructed him to make Anupama eat a particular packet of snacks. He insists that he did not know what Gautam intended to do.
Pakhi becomes worried and wonders whether Gautam may have poisoned Anupama.
Paritosh tries to reassure her, pointing out that Anupama has already been examined by a doctor. Pakhi then demands a share of the money and threatens to expose Paritosh if he refuses.
With little choice, Paritosh gives her part of the money.
Soon, the two notice Ishani and Prerna preparing to leave for the competition. They immediately become nervous and wonder whether Anupama has changed her mind.
Paritosh is particularly worried because if Anupama participates, Gautam could ask him to return the money.
Pakhi makes it clear that she has no intention of giving her share back.
Paritosh agrees.
Meanwhile, the grand finale begins at the competition venue.

Rahi finds it difficult to believe that Vasundhara would take things this far, but she is also increasingly anxious.
The judges, including Manpreet and Roy, make the rules clear. If Anupama does not arrive within the permitted time, she will be disqualified.
Prem continues hoping that she will arrive. He wants to defeat Anupama fairly rather than win because she was unable to participate.
The countdown begins.
Meanwhile, Vasundhara watches the situation unfold. She thinks about Prem and convinces herself that everything she is doing is for his sake, even if her decisions eventually hurt him.
