Sairaab | Written Update: August 26, 2026: Ujjaini Cuts All Ties With Nayanika
The latest episode of Sairaab becomes increasingly emotional as Ujjaini makes it clear that she no longer wants Nayanika to have any place in her life. Meanwhile, Ishaan continues to struggle with his misunderstanding about Nayanika, while Mini and Romeo refuse to stay silent about the way she is being treated.
The episode begins with Ujjaini telling Nayanika that she wants to erase her completely from her life. She even says that she does not want Nayanika to remain in her memories or dreams. Although Nayanika is deeply affected by these words, she chooses not to argue and simply tells Ujjaini to do whatever she feels is right.
Nayanika later speaks to Mini and Romeo and explains that this is exactly why she had avoided coming downstairs. Mini becomes angry after seeing how badly Nayanika is being treated. She feels that the family is doing something wrong and refuses to support their behaviour.
Romeo also takes Nayanika’s side. He announces that he will not eat and says that when he grows up, he will take revenge on anyone who insults her. His innocent determination adds an emotional yet slightly humorous moment to the tense situation.
Ujjaini asks the children to calm down. Mini apologizes to Nayanika for bringing her downstairs and promises that she will continue supporting what she believes is right.
Meanwhile, Ishaan returns home. Bishu asks him to have something to eat, but Ishaan admits that he is unable to hide his sadness. He tells Bishu that he feels he has nobody except him.
Bishu reminds Ishaan that he works for him and therefore feels uncomfortable becoming too familiar. Ishaan becomes emotional and tells him that he would rather be scolded than treated so formally. He eventually admits that he is hungry and agrees to eat if Bishu serves him.
Ishaan then asks Bishu about their upcoming trip abroad. Bishu replies that being with Ishaan is enough for him. When Ishaan again brings up Nayanika and accuses her of betrayal, Bishu refuses to accept that she could have betrayed him.
Elsewhere, Madhavi questions Malini about why everyone returned so late. Shuboo immediately puts the blame on Malini, but she explains that the atmosphere had actually been enjoyable.
Jaydeep admits that he felt uncomfortable during the visit. Malini says that everyone is already aware of the scandal and reveals that she even spoke with Nayanika.
When Malini starts making negative comments about Shisho, Gablu immediately defends him. He also supports Nayanika, which annoys Malini.
Malini scolds Gablu for defending both Nayanika and Shisho, while Madhavi tries to stop the argument from getting louder.
Jaydeep then says that they hardly visit the Basu house and that he does not want Nayanika around him. Malini also questions why Nayanika continues to stay there.
Gablu challenges the family’s thinking and says that Nayanika could live freely if she simply left the Basu house. He questions why different standards seem to be applied to Neil and Nayanika. His comments about women sometimes becoming enemies of other women further irritate Malini, who orders him to leave for his room.
Meanwhile, Bishu again asks Ishaan what Nayanika actually did to hurt him. Ishaan finally explains his version of events. He says that he believes Nayanika betrayed him because he saw her with another man near the riverside.
Nayanika, meanwhile, continues thinking about everything Ujjaini has said. She wonders whether Ishaan ever truly trusted her. In her mind, she feels that someone who genuinely loved her would have tried to understand the situation instead of immediately judging her.
Nayanika begins considering whether distancing herself from everyone might be the best option. She feels that cutting contact could prevent further problems.
Ujjaini then approaches Nayanika once again.
She accuses Nayanika of being responsible for the misunderstandings between her and Shisho. Ujjaini says that she has faced humiliation because of Nayanika’s viral photograph and insists that she wants to be free from the situation.
Ujjaini tells Nayanika to leave the house and makes it clear that she does not want Nayanika’s money either. She even suggests that Nayanika could rely on a scholarship if she needs financial assistance.
Nayanika then questions Ujjaini about why she is willing to accept money from Neil. Ujjaini responds with another painful accusation, suggesting that there must be something wrong with Nayanika because otherwise Angana would never have entered Neil’s life.
Nayanika is left heartbroken by yet another personal attack.
